Because adding years successively doesn't necessarily yield an infinity. Hence, if Shandy were writing for an infinte amount of time, there is nothing to prevent him from coverging on done without ever actually getting done at least as regards calculus.

Actually, I grew weary of explaining every nuance of what I meant. As pretentious as it sounds, I don't like dealing with people who aren't willing to make half an intellectual effort to understand the points made. I simply have better ways to spend my all too finite time.
