Lynch, as well as the rest of the people who got lost in her convoy and were captured, was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor. The Bronze Star is supposed to be awarded to those soldiers who do an outstanding job outside of there called duty. Question: How does getting lost prove outstanding? Where is the valor in hiding under your vehicle and not returning fire on the enemy? One person in that captured unit did return fire. He was awarded the Silver Star. The Silver Star is supposed to be awarded for an exceptional display of courage in the face of the enemy. The guy shot back, the only one in this captured unit who fired back, and he was given a medal. That is what we are supposed to do when we are being attacked. Why was he awarded for doing his job? Wouldn't we all like to be given awards for doing what we are supposed to, NO!!!. Because we are SUPPOSED to do it.
