What I was thinking here had very little to do with the ideas supported by realists. It was more related to philosophy of science. History has seen many lines of logic; materialists relied heavily on math as does quantum mechanics. I was going off on a tangent thinking way ahead, regarding how theories of today (quantum mechanics) are interconnected. I presented the idea poorly.

So, how are consciousness and conventional laws related? It could be argued that consciousness is related to "awareness". Awareness has applications regarding conventional laws.
