and sniffed the new filly. He detects a whiff of other horses and looks about anxiously. If there is a herd about, with a mature stallion, he might lose Dawns companionship. Not to mention an older stallion would most likely drive him away. Spitfire likes these rugged mountains. He feels safe with their jagged narrow trails and hidden crevaces.
