Subject: ATV/UTV driving on the beach?

Hello.
I am thinking of purchasing Utility Vehicle (polaris ranger), for the sole reason of driving to, and fishing Mitchells Cut. I know that Jeeps and other 4x4s can drive the beach, but is it legal to drive a UTV down the beach? Im looking at purchasing one in the next few days, so a quick reply would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks......First call parks and wildlife...then the following...Matagorda sheriff office 979-245-5526..Vechile licensing 979-244-8815...Local J P 979-245- 0358....You will talk to a whole of people and get a whole lot of answers..Make sure that anything you get must be in writing...This has been a sore spot ...no one knows ...What ever you do...make sure rumors don't count...There has not been a ticket written yet that I know of...They will send you home a threaten but they can not find the county ordinance .....Good luck Lamar...979-323-9449
