While I like the Drew Carey Show, and I liked his book _Dirty Jokes and Beer_ I just don't like Drew as the host of WL. While I know I can't expect him to be a clone of Clive, there are still plenty of things that I think Clive did better.

-Clive was creative with the points. Sometimes he would give 3 points, sometimes a million points, and if it was a particularly raunchy skit, sometimes 69 points. All Drew does is just award 1000 points to everyone, every time. That joke that he did last week with the tape recorder was so true that I didn't even laugh. I just thought to myself, "He's right, all he needs is a tape recorder to say '1000 points' over and over again."

-I liked how Clive could banter with the audience and be funny without rehearsing it. He'd joke about their suggestions, saying stuff like: "One man show - what are they going to do, shoot the other one?" and "Swedish porn - you're the same person who comes here every week, aren't you?" I never find myself laughing at any of the scripted jokes that Drew uses when the show comes back from a break.

-It seems like, when taking suggestions for Hoedown, Superheroes, etc., Drew just automatically always takes the first suggestion. At least Clive would sometimes wait to see if anyone came up with a better suggestion.

-This gripe may have more to do with the producers than with Drew, but here goes. I always liked Clive's clever introductions of the players, but Drew's intros don't *mean* anything! He just quotes a song lyric or a jingle that doesn't have anything to do with the player. Stuff like, "Where's the beef, Colin Mochrie!" What the hell does *that* mean?
