Subject: Essie

Dow has fallen below 10.000 then recovered. Tuesday August 24th.
It crossed over 10.000 July 7th 2010 (July 8th Oz)
Essie first day of arbitrage.
Qantas stock severely hammered to downside.
Tuesday 24/8/2010 1.12pm==physical stock 252 low futures 253.5.
Cebot expiry Chicago Saturday 21/8/2010.
Dow fell below 10.000 Aug 24th (25/8==Oz.)
futures set to zero at 4.30am.
Trading up off lows as settlement is effected this week.
Valuations for Qantas with investor cap on as opposed to trading,
with a 12 month view.
Macquarie Equities buy at ##2.33 date of report 27/6===##
went down to a low of 212=July 6th (All Ords low 4250.60 July 5th)
Another recent report with 12 month view 3.55 Citi brokers.
Qantas profits are still basically stuffed from the GFC of 2008.
But show improvement (underlying earnings have tripled.
Last profit report Thursday August 12th 2010. Traded low 243.
NTA has risen from 2.25 to 2.35.
Theres always a lot of volatility around this period,
its a second major low for Qan.
The last major low==50 days.
July 6th to Aug 24th.
After things settle down a little should gradually rise.
No guarantee's with this sort of thing, thats the theory anyway.
If it doesn't happpen you'll know Im a bum and a tosser who lives in a park!
What it needs to do is get conclusively above the 260 mark
and then build support above that figure, if I see it do that
over the next few days, to me it will look good extreme short term
and instead of a totally destitute bum in the park, I become a slightly
wealthier bum!
I'm only a mosquito in the equation my funds are very meagre, I often can't attend
things I would like to do,various appts etc, in order for me to climb out of poverty
my sole attention is Qantas so I watch it like a hawk.
What I normally do is schedule Big Issue for weekends
Make as much cash as I can, then I use the money raised to fund personal
expenses during the week while trading the All Ords.
Contrary to popular belief the market trades 24/7
So I'll be flat out once again this weekend doing that.
and then even after physical market close 2.10am New York
I'm doing the mag once again for a couple of hours on many days
and then sometimes early in morning==Dow close 6am==Mlb==4pm New York.
On a personal note.
Im the hardest working bum of all time for whats its worth.
Then at the end of it I go to a ditch in the park and freeze to death.
Hopefully as time goes by I'll be able to alleviate bum trading conditions
and lease an apartment somewhere at the moment I just cannot afford to do that.
I'm self taught in everything I know, (no accrediation in anything---no piece of paper I can wave and say employ me!) so at the age of nearly 50 Im just a 3 month assigment on an agency payroll stack shelves===then terminate, so I cant see anyway out of my present position.
EXCEPT watch Qantas like a hawke.!===LOL
=========
Thankyou for your recent help.
Regards,---Steve.
