| a new site seems very competent www.diyacu.com ... except that i did greet him but he seems to have deleted my entries! i havent the first - this was the second i wrote him about a year ago now ... its good to see someone young really taking this subject to its limits ... hi Andrew, excuse me .... I guess you are about 25/30 ..... Im about 60 .... I saw your answer ages ago ... Im older - it works slower in me ... your attitude - I think I love -- you seem experimental to the extent of wanting to teach yourself acupuncture ... and in the process enable others to learn it .... wonderful and creative. You ask if I have any ideas for your site ... well Im not really sure what kind of person you are or your intentions ... but if my impression of you is correct then i could well enjoy thinking more My own experiments in recent times are with incredibly painful needles in the soles of my feet (and palm of the hand) - NO acupuncturist could ever get PAID for such a torture treatment - profis would use skillful means ... it really takes guts to stick the needles in there ... but i guess that what makes me a real primitive MAN (ho ho) .... Dont get me wrong Im quite happy doing what my body indicates, but Id be interested to know what these symptoms indicate - and what are the skillful means I could use to release the problem without causing so much pain? ... I would need a method of showing you exactly where the points are - just generally to have fun and spread the ideas ... I thought of DIYacupuncture on youtube, i started making videos, but the pale blue needles I have dont show up well enough so i felt i needed RED needles to communicate easily and happily ... ( I boil and reuse my needles (so it works out about .01 euro a needle) and so its not a simple case of just marking them with paint ... ) ... I wonder if the old (was it japanese) people you described who were needling their own legs were in the same general area as me - which is from the knee down on the outside leg - round and under the ankle bone - and then outside leading to little toe - especially betwen little and 4th toe - and also between 4th and 3rd toe ...? anyway so those are my thoughts at present cheers robin PS. ... sorry havent caught up with face book yet ... |
