Subject: Chinese handball

Lunchtime in the schoolyard at halsey in 1958-1959 consisted of the same ritual. Chinese Handball which we also called ace-king-queen. There was always the same 5 of us playing. Me, Bernie Loyal, Eric Vogt, Frankie Schnitzer, and Phil Fricker. In 1959 our schoolyard got cut down to half its size because of construction going on for the new building. Oh, to be a kid again :-)
