I always liked the Hammer posters. I remember seeing many of them at the theaters where one of the Hammer horror films were playing.

The only poster I had was for "The Mummy."
The one where the light beam is going through the mummy's abdomen.
Although no scene like that ever appeared in the actual film, it was still an impressive poster.

You are right, Dan, in those days the poster art did not always represent something that actually happened in the movie.
