Subject: Tell your congressmen and Senators

Don't sit on your hands while your country is about to default. Tell them to raise the debt limit - not for a few months, but for years to come. Tell them to cut spending, but not to touch Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. Tell them to generate revenue by eliminating the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Etc., etc., etc. Want to know what's wrong with the country? I continually get e-mails critical of President Obama, our Congressmen, Senators, illegals taking our jobs, the gross unemployment, the recession, our military fighting around the world, the US rebuilding countries that we have bombed and destroyed, etc. It is humorous to me that everyone has lots of blame to go around when all you have to do is to look in the mirror to see who is to blame for this mess. YOU ARE TO BLAME. Very few of you have ever personally contacted by telephone, went to visit or have written to any elected official either at the local, State or Federal levels. Have you ever sent a question and demanded an answer or have you held them accountable for their remarks in the press? Have you blamers been voting? Do you know who your elected officials are? We the citizens of the United States are the reason our country is fast approaching Third World Status, but you feel it won't affect you, you'll get by --- right? KEEP DOING NOTHING BUT COMPLAINING ON THE INTERNET AND YOU WILL HAVE CHOSEN TO GIVE AWAY YOUR POWER TO SOMEONE YOU KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT.
