Ella pads up, 2 of their pups trailing behind. She closes her eyes as she sits beside Glanze, and a tear slides down her muzzle. Anger swells in her chest. It wasn't fair! She didn't even get to say good-bye, he never even saw their other 2 children. It wasn't supposed to happen this way... She lays on the ground overcome and feeling more alone than she ever had before. Everest and Buck look at the whole scene confused and not even knowing what was going on.
