Subject: Bath v Bristol

Initially I thought that Bath would be much stronger than Bristol. However Bath did not manage to create any enterprising rugby. They made far to many mistakes and at times looked very scrappy and miserable.

Tries for both teams in the 1st half were scored from mistakes. Balshaw picked up a slight injury although he carried on the throughout the game and it does not look like it is going to make him miss next weeks game England v France.

Pichot played very well today. He out played Cooper in almosrt every way. His illusive running and explosive attitude allowed him to create breaks and chances.

The score was more or less even throughout the game however Bath were triumphant when the final whistle was blown. The score was Bath 19 Bristol 16

Overall I would rate it**
