Hi,
I operate a Rans S6/503 386 kg microlight and intend to upgrade to 430/450kg and fit the D-motor. I already understand that it will fit the Jabiru mount and that the dimensions are virtually identical. I met the designer at Popham last year when he was at the X-air stand and I was impressed by his determination and passion for success with his engine. I was going to build a Hawk with this engine, but I only re-skinned my Rans a couple of yers ago and can't bear to part with it. So it looks like I'm going to pioneer this new engine in the Rans. I really think it is going to be a great engine and surpass the 912.
Will keep checking in here and pass on any snippets I get.
Regards, Bill Rans S6/503 @ Priory Farm Int'l.
