Hello Bob, I hear what you are saying about the engine. I have been a fan of this motor and it's possibilities for quite some time as i have an ongoing project in which i intend to install one of these engines. I can understand your frustration regarding the apparent lack of information / progress recently. I have been speaking with John Anderson of Xair East who is based not far from me in Lincolnshire, John is an agent for the Xair range of Microlights on the East side of England he is also a sales agent for D-Motor and is very informative and helpful on all matters relating to the engine. I can vouch for the fact that the engine is in production and at John's invite i recently went to his work shop to see a production D-Motor being installed in an Xair Hawk. As regards D-Motors none attendance at Sywell it was apparently decided that D-Motor would exhibit at Blois instead which unfortunately was the same weekend. John hopes to exhibit at the show himself next year with Xair and the D-Motor. There are presently two D-Motor powered Hawks flying in the UK and Ireland with several aircraft projects presently being fitted with the engine including the Sherwood Ranger, Xair Hawk, Xair Falcon and a Jabiru!! the engine will soon be approved for use in the UK under the LAA. John's contact details xair.east@gmail.com
