Subject: Fence regulations for Section 17

We are purchasing property in Section 17 and want to install a fence. Are there specific regulations regarding the type of fence and the area that you may enclose with the fence?

You can do and build anything you want to in Downeys. There is no architectural control. The Board works on the dirt roads and pays the light bills. Just remember that cedar fences will be blown away in a hurricane and become missiles. During Celia there was 4 feet of water in the houses along Caney Creek.
