Subject: How is your week going?

I'm way too busy! Not getting in the amount of exercise I would like, but trying to eat decently. That hasn't been going too badly. Grilled chicken salad for lunch. Off to a job this evening, better make time for something to eat!

Insomnia is a big problem for me and I stay in bed if I haven't slept much.

Tomorrow our dept. is doing our second-ever quarterly volunteer activity. Last month about 25 of us sorted 6000 lbs of donated clothing for a local second-hand store. Tomorrow we're scraping and painting porches in a low-income neighborhood in Minneapolis. I'm hoping to be nice and worn out so I'll sleep well. :-)

(I love that our new VP picks volunteer activities for our team-building exercises instead of making us play softball or something)

Definitely eating less! Not sure it'll matter as far as numbers go. Been trying to keep up on toning, adding more exercises as I can. Can't jump in the pool -it's 94 in there! (not to mention heat index over 110)

Played 3 games of volleyball last night (and won all 3) - that helps too.
