I agree with your post. Sounds like the few people trying to make the Sargent Beach Texas site look like the "official" site for Sargent Beach need to get a life.

The one's needing to "get a life" are those trying to impose MORE than the original deed restrictions. If you look at all the documents the SBPOA sued without notice 3 property owners right after they incorporated. The don't have 51% of the property owners as members by their own admission (47 signed up) out of over 240 property owners. They don't have the right to impose their will on others without proper support and even now they want to "admend" the original deed restrictions - I understand that takes a consenous vote of 100% of the property owners to change deed restrictions. That's never going to happen. The deed restrictions that you have now are in question because they have not been inforced for decades. The very rules they claim are voilations have been breeched over and over in the past.
Ask yourself honestly - is this assocation doing what they are doing to help the island or to help themselves. Looks like a land grab is in the works from this end.
