and it's true, a 401 4V High Performance, Matador Police Pkg would/could run circles around the 400 2V Ford Municipal Police pkg, especially in handling, ....not top end, however the AMCs were geared very low (*3.50's, 3.73's, etc) and had a top end of around 120-125 mph.
