This time it was on AMC, and they continually had pop up facts about NYPD detective unit research for the movie and other details: for instance, detectives in unmarked cars on a stakeout would put a straw hat on the left side of the car's rear window package tray if they were on a stakeout as a signal to others on the force that they were in the area.
