In reply to: Chris H 's message, "Anyone out there know what type of radio equipment and mechanical sirens were used by the FBI in their vehicles in the early 60's? Any ex-G-Men out there?" on 20:30:34 12/22/02 Sun

The car is tan so probably not Army/Navy/Air Force.
My '66 Ford Custom has a Fed Sig C4B that the Sheriff's Dept. had gotten used from CHP. I've been told that it was more common for these sirens to NOT have a brake. Whould the Feds have paid the extra $$$ for sirens with a brake?
Thank you, in advance, for the help.
This is really what this board is for! THANKS, DAVE.
