Yeah you might see rangers out there, finally doing their job keeping it from being a race track. I've driven it for years and it was notorious for those people in a rush to shortcut Rt84 to Rt81. I've had people fly past me at 60mph+ and pass whenever they felt like it. I don't mind the 45mph zone in fact, I'm glad they have stepped up enforcement. I saved them (that is US) in a mega million lawsuit some years back because an impatient driver had to drive like a Yahoo and damn near killed herself. (She was lucky that me an active PO and a buddy retire park ranger just happened to be there, seen it happen and saved her from being toast). She blamed the Park Service because she drove off the road while passing a string of cars which were doing the legal speed limit. Like you said you have a vacation home there, why rush, your on vacation. I don't think your getting a ticket if your doing 50 but your pushing it beyond that.
