Hello!

In my family "girl day" simply means that my son wears girl's clothes all day.
It has nothing to do with switching toys or chores as I don't believe in gender specific toys or chores. My daughter has to mow the lawn as my son has to do dishes and vice versa. Also my son can play with his own toys when wearing a skirt and tights.
We have a girl day at least once a week. Mostly Saturdays and Sundays. My son is a total different person on a girl day. A lot quieter and more sensitive than on "normal" days. My daughter wants more "girl days" during the week and I am thinking about declaring Wednesdays also a "girl day". I am just unsure if I can send him to school in a skirt or dress. My daughter suggested a girl's kilted skirt, so the other kids would have the impression of my son just wearing a kilt. Well' we'll see. Right now my son is not too fond to appear in school in a skirt...

Regards,
Elena
