I though Ben Hyland was great as the son of Eph in the series, but the studio claimed they needed someone with a wider ranger of acting ability for what they had planned for this season. Nothing wrong with Max Charles, but, so far...I haven't seen anything that would need a high caliber child actor for just yet. It's not like aley Joel Osement in "Pay It Forward" or anything. Ben Hyland could have pulled this performance off easily.

So yeah...don't know what to think about that. But I'm still a fan! That show rocks! :) So I wish both young actors luck! I just feel that Ben got a raw deal on this one...
