So this is what's concerning - that he may be gay?!

And there I was reiterating what the article and follow-on comments were endorsing - his achievements and high performance and strong character.

It's just as well then that we know where others may stand on the issue, however.

My main concern - and I am glad that we are airing views about what he may bring to Colgate's D1 athletics programs as someone who knows what it takes to succeed - was that he may want to reintroduce the 16 lap and 5 minutes of treading water swim test. Not that that would be a bad thing, either, come to think of it.

The notes at the end of the article had only one additional factoid.
All of Brian's other accomplishments were listed in the atricle.
As a self appointed "Insider" to this board, I'd say you blew it, big time!
