gee Princeton, really stretching your program by playing G'town and Davidson...perhaps they can get Valparaiso in the mix as well...

The defense has shown a propensity to disappear in the 4th Q. the late stop was the result of 4 missed passes preceded by the D getting lit up by Cornells passing game turning a potential rout into a near loss. Anything less than 4 FULL quarters against the tigers will hand another loss on Gate

Princeton known for their trickery; 'Gate needs to have their heads on swivels to keep track of everything they pull out of their bag of tricks, especially before the home crowd. I don't have a lot of hope for the Raiders in this one. Let's hope the win over Cornell puts them in a position to get the upset.

As for the schedule; hate to see us not playing the Tigers in the future, a traditional rival and good recruiting ground in NJ for our roster each year.

Agreed. In some way the game may depend as much on the team captains as the coaches, especially on D where the issues are how many minutes does the team play, and how strong a commitment is there to the fundamentals of tackling. On the offensive side coaches have a big opportunity to exploit Gate's receivers. Quazza, Greenawalt and Madaluna present issues of size, ability to snare passes and open field running. Should produce a lot of yards and open up the running game even more. Even more so if the OC would utilize Wingenroth to his potential. As a tandem all four would be a DC's nightmare.

Good things happen when Melville calls his own number. Great to see him keep the ball early and often against Cornell. O feels very dynamic when he keeps it or throws the ball down the field. The 20-30 yard pass is a real sweet spot for this O. If the other team's D is loading up the box, Quazza is always open because of his height and Greenawalt is always open on the back shoulder. Maddaluna is incredibly dynamic--kid getting the ball in space is a big problem for a D. Agreed on Wingenroth. He gets the least amount of attention from Colgate's O, which means he probably also gets the least amount of attention from the D.

Also, Georgetown athletics received a $50 million donation and will finally get a new stadium.

[> [> [> [> [> This will be Princeton's first real test if the 'good" Colgate shows up for 4 quarters -- Andy Kerr, 10/ 8/15 12:49:49pm Thu

If the "good" Colgate O & D show up for 4 quarters and play like they did for three quarters against Cornell, and two quarters against Holy Cross and Yale, the Raiders should prevail. Princeton has not been tested by a 4 quarter team like the "good" Colgate.
