Big win for 'gate!

Scored last 28. Melville with a great game. After not converting the red zone to start Colgate comes up big on last drive of first half and the rest of the way. Melville very efficient. Confident throws--even the pick was confident--you could argue too confident--but a couple of picks on plays like that wouldn't be the worst thing--they are aggressive plays. He really stepping into his throws. Holland is a very good back. He makes the first guy miss. I like all of these backs but boy, it seems like he should get a lot of carries.

Having #1 back on D seemed to make a big difference--sliding guys around to have speed at so many positions. Great defensive shift on Morgan's pick six.

O line dominated in 4th. Same play 14 straight times for a TD? What could be more frustrating for a Holy Cross fan? Colgate consistently loses the first half to that team and then beats them up in the second. Pujols always looks great against 'gate for the first third of the game--looks unstoppable but then he makes huge mistakes. D shuts them out for second half and plays with an attitude.

Keep it Going, 'gate!
