good recap jb74
there were a couple very questionable decisions:
with 1 second left in the 1st instead of a squib kick to end the 1/2 hunt elected to kickoff deep allowing for either a kick return or a play from scrimmage, the rams got the later thankfully no damage BUT a VERY BAD coaching decision then 0n 4th and long at the FU 25 late in the 4th quarter with a 2 possession lead there were 3 options 1: kick a FG & go up by 3 possessions and game OVER! 2: run the ball and take time off the clock even if you don't get a 1st down...game OVER! 3: throw the ball and don't complete it stopping the clock and extend the game....that's what hunt elected and put a great win in peril!! 3: very poor execution on the onside kick sitting back waiting for the ball to roll 10 yards!!!!, I spoke to a few players who told me they do NOT practice that!!!!
FORTUNETLY a great win but any 1 of those 3 decisions could have ruined a GREAT effort by the boys...that MUST change!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong please, on number two above doesn't the clock stop on a possession change, that is if we ran and gave up the ball ?

clock stops to move chains then starts
pointing out poor decisions, I am only a fan the coaches do this for A LIVING!!! they need to make better decisions!!!
again GREAT effort GREAT game plan BUT those decisions can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!!!
and BTW: I'm quite happy with life! but thanks for your concern you seemed very thinned skinned and can NOT accept CONSTRUCTIVE criticism!!!!!

Zappa... You are correct. gatefan is only a fan but it does not appear a very knowledgeable one. The clock stops on a change of possession and does not start until the ball is snapped again, not when the chains are set.
If you feel the need to point things out, at least know what you are talking about.
