Subject: Soccer news

This was supposed to be a breakout season for the booters but they have a losing record (4-5-1) and just lost their 3rd in a row - to BU, 1-0. Looks like dreams of a PL title will have to wait until next season. Consecutive losses to Lehigh and BU put us behind the eight ball.

Good recruiter ? Develops the talent that he's able to recruit ? Good game preparation ? Good in-game coaching ? Good Guy ? Potential ?

A frustrating part is that Ethan Kutler and Sarah Coy are phenomenal but their talents are being hindered right now by struggling programs. They cannot carry their teams alone and they are suffering for it. It reminds me a bit of Chris Wagner and his decision to leave the hockey team; perhaps the writing for the program was on the wall. He could not carry it all on his back, so why waste his talent and stay.

The women's team cannot get over the hump to be Top Dog in the PL and despite being a good program, may never get there with BU as a member, at least for the time being.

Question: Are Ethan and Sarah professional athletes being goaded into complaining? No. And I bet you will never hear them moan about their teammates. It's the so-called supporters on this blog who know next to nothing about the dynamics of all the games these teams have played.

Incredible negativity. Textbook level.
