Peter Lanza is alive in stamford conn. tax director and vice president taxes at ge energy financial services.

The Stamford Advocate is reporting that the father of Adam Lanza, the man who killed 20 young children and six others at Sandy Hook Elementary school, is not dead despite being included in earlier reports.
Peter Lanza did not comment to a Stamford reporter when asked about the incident.

The initial confusion as to the whereabouts came from the report of a dead body being found at 36 Yogananda Street in Newtown. That body is now believed to be the mother of Adam Lanza.

She had already been incorrectly identified as being killed at the school. Lanza is believed to have driven her car to the school.
