*The mare whickers softly as the stallion grazes beside her, watching him out of the corner of her eye. Suddenly she picks up her head and trots a few feet away, eyes sparkling. She drops to her knees and begins to roll, legs thrashing in the air. After several minutes she stops, covered in grass and twigs and breathing hard.
