Phoenix stares off into the distance, eyes aquiring a glazed look. The memories flash in her mind, and she relives her foal-hood in an instant. She flinches, visibly shaken as she returns to the present. She looks around for Rebel then remebers she'd scared him off. She never should have said anything. . . .should'a just clamed up. . . .The amre snorts and gets to her hooves, refusing to pity herself. She gallops swiftly once around the tt, sliding around on the snow as she comes to a halt. She hears snarling behind her, her eyes widen in apnic as she swirls around. She lashes out as the leader launches himself at her. She sqeals as the wolf's jaws sink into the flesh above she shoulder. She kicks out again, bugeling her fury, voice shrill and angry.

Phoenix looks at the wolves leaving, eyes widening in suprise. She looks at Rebel, eyes questioning, and she snorts lightly, dismissing the wolves from her thoughts.
