Something rouses the red from the haze of pain and detached concentration that surrounds him. Something erratic. One tattered ear flicks, spattering a few drops of crimson blood onto the stained ground. Inhaling provides far too many scents, so with great mental effort... one green eye opens.

Dyone cub.

Kaw's body is broken, but his mind is not. Relying more on what resembles telekinesis than actual muscles contracting, the red raises his long tail, angles it, and lets it fall. The tip slaps lightly against a nearby Korat... a red-striped tan, in fact. With everything left in him, sheer willpower shoves that little bit of vital life-force through the bloodied appendage and into the younger Korat. Hopefully enough to keep him alive, but if not... Kaw has no more to give, in either case. The opened eye slides shut and the red's breathing shallows, great moments of stillness now interspersed between ragged breaths.
