The red femme's battle-lust began to wear off. She was suddenly aware of the pain that tore sharply through her flank and muscules, as well as the gore that covered her from tail-tip to muzzle. She took a solid breath, adjusting her stance and snorting slightly as her muscules protested. Golden flames dimmed to that of the tamed candle, smaller, but still painfully sharp. A bloody-lip curled back from crimson-stained teeth, as Jysulehn's mind suddenly clicked back into all that she was. A mind, a body, a soul. And a being capable of recognizing destruction. The carnage was surprising for a being who'd noticed nothing but survival for the whole battle, and the golden eyes dimmed. Her pack's blood intermingled with that of the enemy... and the ground would be stained for years to come. On top of that... the sharp gaze widened ever so slightly. The 'Bens. The food.

The pack would be hungry for a long time... Dyone them.

Anger flared briefly but died again, quelled under the contemplative mind that pushed it aside. There was still a battle to be won, for some of Wureshi's children lived on. The red muzzle tilted towards the seven Korats that approached Atumi. She would take one more down at least... and she would do it without the soul-numbing blood-lust she contained within her. She picked out an oncoming red-male, sighed as she recognized his youthful age, but swore to herself that she would remember him. Remember his face as he died, so that all the other's she'd killed in her mindless slaughter would live again in her soul. Enemy or not, any Korat deserved for it's opponant to at least know of their death. Jysulehn intended to give this to them.

The red female's legs stirred beneath her, powering against the earth even though each stroke was painfully felt in each muscule and bone of her body. Her claws tore the earth and she felt it fly behind her this time, felt the wind hit her muzzle, and thought strategically... not in lust. She smiled as she passed Atumi's standing position, hearing her own heartbeat, but changing her concentration to her oncoming opponant. His was slower then hers, and constant. The blood however, was full of the acrid scent of hormones, and Jysulehn recognized in the youth what she had been herself... only moments before. Her own heart-beat was ragged, and her gait uneven. Fresh and young versus tired and experience. How many times had this scneario already taken place today? And yet. She still felt the silent recoginition of the battle to come, and knew the probable ending.

The battle didn't take as long as the red had expected. As soon as they met, head to head, Jysulehn had swiftly gained the upper hand. The red male charged blindly, swinging blows meant to crush something within her.. but Jysulehn was just as heavily built as the younger male, if not heavier, And each of the blows of strength.. she simply took. And they did her little harm. The male backed off, snarling as he paced around her. Jysulehn moved him with her, lurching backwards and stepping into and behind a puddle of blood. The young male followed her, racing forwards with all blades and claws at the ready.. but as he made spring into his attack leap, he slipped in the gore and stumbled. Jysulehn's long-claw jerked forward into his back and snapped his spine. She watched him only a brief moment, watching the fear and pain in the glazzy violet eyes. Her muzzle then closed around his throat and the youth was gone.
