Appearance~ Meheral has shadowy black fur, with grayish tints. His claws are thick and lightly curved, also black. With a bronze tailblade and silver eyes, Meheral blends into the shadows. He is excellent at hiding and stalking (see Personality). Inborn cunning and speed make up for middling strength, but Meheral's endurance is spotty - he has to go into a light trance before any grueling trek. His climbing and jumping skills are well-practised and accurate, with an uncanny sense of direction and distance. A distinctive streak of white fur along his neck marks a severe injury from his youth - an event that marked him psychologically as well as physically. He also has a slight speech impediment as a result.

Personality~ Meheral seems not to know his parents. He is very secretive about his past, and is very much a loner. He lurks on the sidelines, analyzing the actions and reactions of others, but not getting involved. His lifestyle has honed his sense of smell so keenly that he has learned to read events by their smell - weeks later.
When he was young, his miri and mai abandoned him and his fre to the woods. He was taken in by a striped Korat, who taught him how to survive, but who died within a few months. Meheral still feels responsible, and has a soft spot in his heart for stripeds (Which may have something to do with the teasing he underwent as a cub about the streaky appearance of his fur).

Meheral is reluctantly considering joining a pack. He remembers the days when his fre, Taksha, and he used to hunt together. He misses that feeling.
