Atumi awakens naturally as the sky just begins to lighten, refreshed and in a good mood. He stretches on his side, long digits curling, before rolling upright and seating himself to groom. But then, a strange scent tickles his nose, near the prey. An intruder... female, red, and hungry. Erashun opens one dark silver eye to watch his friend stiffen, stand, and sniff the wind more aggressively. "She came last night. She means no harm." The white pushes his mass upright and stretches one long, muscular limb at a time, grinning easily at Atumi's consternation. "And you let me sleep?" the black demands half-heartedly, giving his glossy pelt a few brief licks to put it into place. Erashun shakes once, exceedingly long white fur flying, before it settles into the natural flow that most whites have. Not a tangle, burr, nor matt in it. Giving his friend a sidelong glance, Atumi erupts into a fast sprint towards the intruder. Erashun follows at a more leisurely pace, enjoying the early morning chill and mist.
