Adi lets her gaze travel to Deyt with a questioning look, but for once manages to hold her tongue, as her mother notes approvingly. Then she looks over to Zrego and can't hold back her smile.
The white stretches languorously. "Well, I can't say you're not still acting like a fool, you seem to be revitalized. I do not yet know whether this new piece of information will do you any good in life, but if you want to rush headlong into whatever may come, I can obviously no longer stop you."
"Okay mom!" She sticks out her chest and holds her head and tail up a little higher, trying to look like a warrior instead of an awkward adolescent, and almost manages.
