I´ll definitely rewatch it, too. You´re right, there was something like that towards the end that had Beckett storming to his rescue...Still, all in all I got the impression he wasn´t really trying all that hard to get rid of her in order to keep up appearances. - Ok so I rewatched. I think the no Beckett heard over the phone was referring to all that fruit bowl falling and breaking and not coming closer? He was merely trying to hide from her, at least up until the point where she straddled him on the couch. Then he did seem to try to push her away, but I guess they needed that scene to have something for Beckett to run into. Wouldn´t have been all that spectacular otherwise...     - Nope wouldn't have been funny if guy. And feel he didn't try as hard as could so really didn't enjoy at all. He could have been a little more forceful with her. Feel could have her open her dress try to grab him and Kate comes in still works. Now that have that plot device over with don't want to see again.       - I think what they were getting at with the imploding relationship talk is both of their fears. They went in to this with baggage. She's going to worry about him as a lady's man, and he's going to worry about her ability to trust, and maybe choosing the job over him. They need to jump over those hurdles one by one.
