  • I think after her dinner with Kate and then this was to show us she had little more depth. Since only saw her in one other episode. I think partly true and partly doing it to mess with Kate.   • I agree that they were trying to show us she had more depth, but I believe Castle has made more than one reference to her shopoholic tendancies. Or maybe I'm misremembering again. If they make her too flighty, then that could make Castle look bad for having been married to her. But I choose to believe that it shows how far he has come.
