Then, the rolling wave of anger and hatred hits Noni out of nowhere. She takes a quick step back from her fellow students and gives a blatantly calculating golden stare in the striped's direction. When she regains her composure, she remembers whom she had spent the previous night getting to know, and a large part of the previous day fighting with. Jhael is not the sort who likes to hide from confrontation, or to hide from anything, for that matter. It would only have been a matter of time before the two adolescents met face to face, but what that would bring remained to be seen. Better that both be warned first.
The black dips her shadowy muzzle in a single nod and sends Zrego the confirmation she is not sure he's ready for:
