I'm sure the engine mounting could be sorted out. After all, the early XP's had the 912 on a bed mount. The low weight makes it very attractive for greater power, much better fuel efficiency and assumed longer TBO's. I guess that by the time I have saved up enough to buy one they should have had the bugs ironed out.

I can understand the LAA being a bit reticent, after all, the Jabiru is still undergoing some major changes even now, although one might assume that the water cooling of the D-Motor would avoid the high CHT problems that the Jab has suffered from.

Anyways, wouldn't it be great, 90 bhp, same weight, less fuel, and real aeroplane noises!!
