Glad you got your bits. Sometimes SkyDrive sell bits at a slight discount at the LAA Sywell rally.

I'm not sure if the Rotax UK agents are making excessive profits, or if they are just reflecting the prices that Rotax charge them.

I'm told the UK Jabiru agent bases his pricing on what he can get away with, rather than "normal" retail price mark ups. Its interesting to see that a soon as any part becomes available from a third party (either the original part manufacturer part code is identified, or someone makes an equivalent/alternative part) the official part drops rapidly.

I read that someone has started making alternative carb mounting rubbers for the Jabiru Bing carb. Perhaps they'll also offer the same for Rotax engines. I'll try to find out and post my findings. The Jabiru message board now has a list of all the "third party" parts available for Jab engines. Perhaps we could do something similar?

Cheers

Bob
