Hi Lee.
Most 582 Pulsars have only the fuselage tank as Alan said, but I do recall in the original kit, there was the option to install wing tanks for long range.

Your Pulsar probably has light blue coloured Styrofoam ribs, and these are subject to serious damage from petrol leaks. The later ones had a brown PVC foam that was not affected by fuel. Inspection of the wing internals is by way of the two access panels on the underside of each wing, as well as looking through the flap pushrod hole in the rear spar. I would suggest that if you spot any sign of the problem you must strip the bottom skin off to access the tank. Some Pulsars have ply skins, and some have a one piece composite skin.

You need to check very carefully. You can also tap along the wing skin, and press down to see if the ribs are providing support. Eitherways, you are gonna have to strip it to sort the problem.

Aside from the potential rib issue, if you have a fuselage tank as well, then disable the wing tanks and use just the fuselage tank. It makes de-rigging easier with no fuel in the wings, and the centre tank does provide gravity feed.

There has been a thread about tank sealing compounds recently on the Yahoo Pulsar Aviators forum.

Hope to see you at the fly in perhaps.
