Thanks for the info Bob. I got a copy of the Service Bulletin RE checking for defective composite spars from the LAA. Can forward it to anyone else if useful.

The aircraft is in Wiltshire and would really appreciate the advice from an experienced owner once I have found out a bit more if there is anyone local.
