Hi Kelvin,
I wasn't impressed with the fuel supply routing either - especially where the rubber hose pushes on to the firewall spigot directly above the silencer.

After much LAA arm twisting they agreed to my modified routing. The fuel supply now routes in an aluminium tube that runs along the inside of the fuselage skin close to the throttle cables and emerges into the engine bay under the battery. There is a downhill gradient all the way to the gascolator and then fuel pumps (plumbed in parallel as per latest Rotax recommendations). I minimized the number of rubber hose terminations by making two custom manifolds from microbore plumbing fittings silver soldered with custom brass hose spigots. Its still not ideal so (just for my peace of mind) I pressurise the fuel system with the electric pump before the first flight of the day (cowl off) and look and smell for any weeping connections.

Cheers
Bob
