With regret after sorting this Pulsar out, I've got no choice but to sell it.
The dream of flying with over to France and beyond with my wife will never happen - not in the Pulsar anyway. She has a bad back and a shoulder injury and just finds it too uncomfortable getting in and more so extracting herself from the cockpit. Therefore she fees a bit trapped once in.
It's a pity, flying it lately I've become quite attached to it. It will cruise comfortably at 125-130 mph. Fast cruise 140 mph. easy to land although it does eat up the runway if a little too fast. All I'll be doing is flying solo and with the odd flying club member who are not too tall and heavy to get in it.
This is crux of the problem. My wife and I being are both small build so this aircraft was an ideal size. Some of my friends who would love to share the cost are just too tall and their knees are bashing the instrument panel.
Now that the wife has made it clear she doesn't want to get in it the aircraft, the Pulsar had become another expensive toy.. If I'm flying solo I'd rather take my Cassuttt racer and have a bit fun tearing up the clouds.
The intention was to sell the Cassutt and enjoy a bit of touring but now sadly it's got be the Pulsar.
Advertised on Afors. One chap from Scotland has flown down to looked at it and flown ini it and was impressed with its performance, but he wants to spend over £4k on upgrading the radio and fit a mod S transponder. Dropping to £12k if I meet him half way is bit much to chew when I paid £17k for it. So the closer to £14k the better.

Cheers
Kelvin
