Hi Alan,thank you for your reply,new to this forum had difficulty finding my way back to it.
Reg G-PLSA. Based at Fife airport.Old codger newbie pilot.
You have confirmed my conclusions re spark plugs.
Had this 'plane for a year but due to various problems with it,flap actuation,wing tank leaks,radio,brakes,overlong stripped thread loose bolts,nosewheel bearings and pivot, mostly resolved,not flown much, now trying to get some flying but permit coming up this month.
Still cant figure why it takes consistently four attempts to start from cold,but immediate start when warm,but working on it! Flown Katana etc with Rotax 912 never had starting probs.Thanks again for your help re plugs.Any other user tips appreciated.
