Date Posted: Fri, Oct 05 2012, 11:52:01 GMT In reply to: Bob P 's message, "Radiators" on Tue, Sep 25 2012, 12:11:04 GMT Hi Bob, sorry a bit late in replying, my original rads sprang a leak, both within six months of each other, had one rebuilt,but the engine run a bit hotter,but still ok, 2nd rad sprang a leak so had that rebuilt by the same firm & overheating problems from the start, on investigation found that both header tanks were not sealed properly on the middle joint allowing water to pass across both header tanks, had this fixed, but still overheating,back to rad man who said the only thing to do was rebuild with cellular cores, which I had done & it has been perfect temps ever since, hope all this makes sence, Regards Croz.
