582 Nosegear.
Warp drive 56" diameter with "constant speed planform" (tapered blade ends).
Pitch 13 degrees.
Grass runway, at max all up weight, take off in 300 metres or less with nil headwind.
I find performance differs from one day to another, no doubt because of temperature and atmospheric changes. The speed ranges (IAS) as follows:

107-112kts at 6500rpm
98-104kts at 6000rpm
85-88kts at 5000rpm

Climb is normally around 850 FPM at 75 knots.
Solo climb around 1000 to 1100 at 75 knots.

Average fuel burn is 15 to 16 LPH, cruising at around 5800. If I cruise at at say, 6300, fuel burn increases to 18 LPH.

I could of course increase pitch, but I need the field performance, my strip is 450 metres. There is also increased risk of "Bog Down" as pitch increases, especially on hot sticky days.

I also have the original Peery prop which is much courser. Using this, I get around 112 Knots at 6000 rpm but the risk of bog down, especially two up is too high and can lead to a very long take off.

The only in flight adjustable prop for the 582 I believe is the IVOprop. Some of the US guys use them.
