Subject: I have to get a truck...suggestions???

Well I never thought the day would come, but I have to get a truck. I got a job in construction management and it really is pretty much a necessity. I don't start until july, so there's time yet. Selling the Audi to my sister, and the e46 (I think) to my parents. Keeping the e30's of course to play with and drive on nice days :). So anybody have any opinions on trucks? I'm leaning towards a 2002-2003 Tacoma, or a new Frontier, but I'm open to other suggestions. In all cases 4x4 with the v6, probably a manual if I can find one. I'm leaning away from full size trucks because of gas mileage and I don't like them, hah. Any thoughts? I know it's travesty, but I don't feel as horrible because I'm using it for business, not just to commute in, like most people.
